We interrupt this broadcast of all things Regency related to talk about a book so very near and dear to my heart. Of course, I love all books– not just my own. And I love all my books, too. But there is one book that was very close to my heart. It’s my first and only novel-length book and so much of it is from my real life (minus the vampires). I was disappointed that it did not sell well when it was released, because it’s definitely my special baby.
This past week it received some play, which was completely gratifying to me. Two authors read it, loved it and posted on their blogs about it.
The first posting came from Author Denise Wyant, who I only know from her posting the week before of Spank and Run, my story in Coming to Terms. Here’s what she thinks about Deathless Love.
The second came from Katherine Deane, the author who posted the funniest interview with me. If you’re not already following her blog, I suggest you do–she posts about her DD relationship, and spanking romance and she’s a beautiful writer. She felt a real connection with the heroine of my book (not just because they share the same name) so she wrote a post she calls “Katherine’s Connections.” Her post also features a hot spanking excerpt that I don’t think I’ve posted here, if you wanted to get a little steam on.

Katherine connects with Kate Strand from Deathless Love |
Deathless Love
Kate has always had a crush on Dominic, the handsome owner of the club where her band plays. When she finds out one night that he is a vampire, her interest only grows, and when he sniffs out her ne ed for spanking and brings her deepest fantasies to reality, she falls head over heels. The trouble is, Dom is allergic to relationships, or so it seems.
Dom loves knowing how to turn Kate on and taking her in hand comes naturally to him. But he believes he likes Kate much more than is good for either of them. In his mind, he can never be the man she needs, and the best thing he can do for her is to stay far away. But when a powerful vampire targets Dom, Kate gets tangled in the dangerous web and Dom finds himself prepared to sacrifice his own life to save hers. Can he get her back alive? If so, will they find a way to be together?
“A touching, gripping, erotic love story that makes vampires real and spanking hot! 5 stars.” – Cara Bristol, author of False Pretenses
