I’ve had the pleasure recently of getting to know several other spanking authors through cyber-space. I have to say that I become quite biased in favor of authors I know, so you won’t find any scathing reviews here from me, but they still reflect my honest opinion. Here are the books I read this past week:
Emma, a freelance journalist, goes undercover to investigate the Rod & Cane Society – a secret organization of men who believe in spanking their wives. Little does she know, her new boyfriend is member of the board! Telling herself she’s just trying it out for her story, Emma allows Dan to spank her and discovers that she loves it.
False Pretenses is hot from start to finish. The sex is supercharged and the spankings are well done.
The Rod & Cane Society is creepy in that Eyes Wide Shut kind of way, but it serves a purpose in the plot when Emma’s cover gets blown.
This is a deliciously hot read for anyone who loves a good spanking story.
Assistant Prosecuting Attorney Darcy Hughes is a smart but uptight woman. Annoyed by the noise of her new neighbor moving in, she marches over and gives him a piece of her mind. He tries to make it up to her with pizza and wine and after quite a bit of tit for tat, ends up challenging her to a spanking. The rest is spanking history…
This is a charming piece of spanking fiction. It’s a fun, quick read with likeable characters. The spanking scenes are very soft core and the romance is sweet.
This is a well-written/crafted spanking romance. While there are many cowboy spanking stories out there, this one tweaked me in a way that others haven’t. I really enjoyed all the spanking scenes– I thought they were done “just right” — not too harsh, not too wimpy, enough juicy details, dialog and eroticism around them to turn me on. I liked both the hero and heroine and the energy between them was loving.
